Elisha Dumser, Ph.D. has been facilitating Cleveland Museum of Art explorations for CEIRS for four years. She currenly serves as Associate Professor, Honors Research Advisor in Art History at the University of Akron Her publications include Mapping Augustan Rome (2002, reprinted 2008), entries for The Oxford Encyclopedia of Classical Greece and Rome, and a chapter on the urban topography of Rome for The Cambridge Companion to Ancient Rome (2013). Dr. Dumser earned her Doctorate in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania.
