Jeremy David Bendik-Keymer
Jeremy David Bendik-Keymer serves as the Beamer-Schneider Professor in Ethics at Case Western Reserve University. A graduate of Yale College and the University of Chicago, he studied with such figures as the philosopher Martha Nussbaum and the theologian Jean-Luc Marion. He is a past junior fellow of the Martin Marty Center for the Advanced Study of Religion and an author of several books, The Ecological Life: Discovering Citizenship and a Sense of Humanity; the book of spiritual exercises, Solar Calendar, and Other Ways of Marking Time, and Ethical Adaptation to Climate Change: Human Virtues of the Future. In Cleveland, he is involved in the socially engaged, participatory project, A Color Removed and is the creator and co-organizer of The Moral Inquiries ~ A Heights Gathering.
